Inviting Members and Setting Roles
Bring the right people into a project by inviting them and giving each person the access level that fits how they will use the feedback. Roles control what someone can see and do — from a client who reviews their own notes to an admin who manages the whole board.
Sending an Invite
Open the project, go to Members, and add the person you want to include. As the project owner you control who joins and what they can do.
What Each Role Can Do
Pick the role that matches how someone will work in the project. You can change a member's role later from the Members list.
Role | What they can do |
|---|---|
Admin | Sees all comments, changes status and resolves any of them, manages members, and responds to access requests. |
Teammate | Views all comments, leaves feedback, works tickets (in progress and completed), assigns owners, adds labels, tags and due dates, and replies with proof of fix. |
Client | Leaves feedback pins and notes, sees only their own comments by default, and confirms feedback as resolved or reopens it. Can reply, vote and react. |
Choosing Comment Visibility
Alongside a role, each member has a comment visibility setting that decides how much of the board they see:
Handling Access Requests
When someone requests access to a project instead of being invited directly, they appear as pending. Owners and admins can approve or decline the request and, on approval, choose the access level and comment visibility to grant. You'll see a notification when a new request comes in.
Granting Access to Specific Videos
For video-review projects, you can limit a member to only the clips they need. Grant per-video access when inviting, so reviewers see just the videos relevant to their work rather than the entire project library.
